Estaba Para Mi
by rpineroIf I want to listen to Hector Lavoe, I have enough of his music to listen to...yes I'm that so old that I own vinyl and cd versions of his music...also old enough to have seen him live all over New York, Colgate Gradens, Hunts Point Palace and after the name change to the Bronx Music Palacen and El Trpicoro on Wednsesday...all in the Bronx...saw him at the Corso, Chez Jose, The Cheetah, all in Manhattan...and the St. George Hotel in Brooklyn...this Van Lester fellow is a poor imitation...but I guess is that if you've never seen Hector Lavoe live then this fellow is the is the best poser around.

It's been more than a decade, but you've proven that, whatever the critics say about you, you are a class act. Siga pa'lante, Van...We need more talent out there promoting la Salsa Dura, and not the same old reggeaton!!!!
