Adults Only.... Bread Continued...
by WatchGuyI first saw Mike Botts in 1974 when Bread performed at the Honolulu International Center/Blaisdell Arena in concert. He was one dynamic drummer. I then saw him again while playing behind Dan Fogelberg in the mid-1990s. Then again during Bread's 25th Anniversary Tour. This guy could play the drums.. .he was powerful.
I tend to think that if Bread were still together, and Mike Botts still alive, this CD would represent as close to what their sound would be in 2003 as anything out there. I believe some of his former band mates from Bread did in fact help him out on this recording. Mike Botts was a great performer and wonderful artist. He will be missed by all that saw him perform. This CD is a great rememberance of a great musical artist. This is simply put.. a very good CD. Well worth the money!
