A Diamond In The Rough...

by Chris Kepics

Great Album. A Cut above the rest. Sample Felonius Punk. My Favorite track.

Pleasantly Surprised!

by Second Guess

From first listen this album is full of surprises. If anything it is understated, well played "old-school" type jazz, like from the '50's and '60's, when jazz was cool. Each song is strong on it's own merit and has a well grounded theme, it knows where it's going. Never trying to get ahead of itself, the album plays gracefully like the unwinding of an intricate story. I plan to use this album in my car on road trips. It's about an hour from front to back. Each melody took me somewhere new or reminded me of fond memories from my past. There are even some Latin style songs. There is one song, "Walt's Blues" that has metal sounding guitar and is somewhat avant garde even for this album. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this new from Nick Kepics and eagerly await his next CD. We need more song writers of this caliber!
