nice...

this album is an absorbing mixture of all sorts of different musical styles, including gypsy music, jazz, american folk music, and classical composition, all made complex and more brilliant than anything being done today blah blah blah. but basically, it owns.

Worth It.

This album is definitely worth whatever hype it is getting. Combining all the lyrical genius and storytelling of The Decemberists and the outright goofyness of Weird Al (the vocals will remind you a little of him, too) makes for a really great album worth several listens through. They vary their style enough throughout to keep it very interesting and they are extrememly talented musicians. Enjoy! My favorites: Stiletto, Enola Gay, Thankful Hank, March of the Zug, and Beaver Fever (cool little catchy vaudeville number).

Wow
