So-so, Nothing New

Sadly, when this album popped up on my Genius results, I sighed. I had seen this album before, listened to it before, disliked it before. Luckily for this group of songs, I was willing to give it a second chance. I pressed the button and went to it. When I listened through the songs, I, again, sighed and left it for good. I'm not that forgiving. Something is off in this album, something very important. Seeing as I am the first to review it, that should tell you a lot. The songs all seem vaguely similar to ones we have heard in the past, except even more mediocre. The fact I can't put my finger on what makes them so bothers me. If something were different, there would be a small possibly that, even if I didn't, someone out there would like them. I have the strangest feeling no one in the world would genuinely like this music. I have a favorite genre, but I am always looking for new and exciting music. This doesn't pique my interest at all. In fact, I stopped listening to the samples about halfway down. This music seems like the kind you would here in your local department store, the music you shop along to, but forget when you walk out.
