Hypnotic

'Beautiful! - Oṃ Śrī Māta!'
by Paul's CaseThis is by far, 'Śrī' Ragani's best album (with the exeception of 'Oṃ Maṇi Padme Oṃ'). I bought the CD off of Amazon, back in February, after a shaman friend of my mother's said that I should listen to kirtan. Ragani truly has magic in her singing. This, and all of her albums, and work, is entire dedicated, and in the spirit of her belovèd, late guru, Śrī Swāmī Rāma, or as she called him, 'Swamiji'. Until, his death in 1996, he had worked to found a hospital at the foot of the Himalayas, where he was born. All of the proceeds from CD sales, are given to 'Swamiji''s hospital. This part makes this album truly wonderful; for you buy beautiful, musical spirituality, and fund a good, humanitarian cause at the same time. 'Oṃ Māta', 'Sītā Rām', and 'Ganapati' are my personal favourites on this album - Namaste.
inspiring kirtan music
by SeaHunterThe sampled mixes don't give justice to the beauty, delight, and upliftingness of this CD. The tempo of the songs change, and had me "dancing and trancing" in no time. I was fortunate enough to be able to hear her in person as well, which is even more exciting, and while no recorded media can ever come close enough to a live performance, I think this has very good sound and is a very good mix. This is a very worthwhile listen.
