Great peaceful chant!
by PstantonAmazing stuff. This is such an obscure album, but I love it! It is so great to listen to when stressed or tired. I find it fits a lot of situations. It is on par with the "Chant" albums but is different stylistically. The difference isn't bad, just different, like a breath of fresh air. I especially love the track 6 "Troparion on the Assumption..." with its awesome centerpiece of a wonderful basso. And I also love track 13: "Sunday Eucharist Chant (Byzantine)" with its wonderful male harmonization.
I reccomend the entire album highly. It is simply amazing.
