Out of Berryville

I'm so glad to see Furnace Mountain up here! I think Aimee has an increadible voice. Its like Bjork with a touch of the American south. I reccomend this music to everyone, but they are better live.

Great Band!

Take the left turn off the beaten track and enjoy a twisty-turny drive through a diverse musical landscape. You'll enjoy the journey (and may not be the same once you turn back onto the highway).

Aimee, Nathan, David and Enion weave a brilliant musical tapestry - blending elements of bluegrass, blues, folk, rock, and jam to form a unique sound - give them a listen. Catch them live if you can!

ThaMuseMeant is my Muse

ThaMuseMeant delivers a different brand of folk-meets-bluegrass-meets-sultry-singer-song-writing. They've inspired *many* crowded dust-stompin get-downs. Really, its worth a listen. Amy Curl (the female vocals and upright bass) will knock you out if you stand too close at a live show - her power and grace is astounding. Nathan Moore, the songwriting engine behind the bunch (also a part of Surprise Me Mr. Davis), brings clever and creative tact to the writing. The husband/wife duo on fiddle and mandolin is so tight, so eloquent. Makes me all warm & fuzzy.

The album is varied - from lyrical songs to sweet, whirling instrumentals to downright desert stompers. I can listen to this one over and over on repeat. Do not miss these folks!
