Tony Matz is a GOD
by Shop GirledTony Matz is this wickedly funny man, with undeniable sex appeal. Tangerine is a mellow blow to emotional side of rock. Tony's voice is bassy, and melodic. His lyrics are hurt and raw. He has been quoted as calling it, "paxil rock." It has a twist of The Church meets The Twilight Singers. Tony has a very magnetic stage presence that allows him to show one of the most attractive sides to his character, his "swagger." Songs for the Now and Forever is a brilliant insight to the world of lust, love, and beauty. I urge all to take a listen and to keep an eye and ear out for this wonderful band from Pittsburgh.
Breathtaking....
by laguirreI love Tangerine's debut CD album for its beautiful crafted lyrics and melodic arrangements. But more than that, it is the allure of Matz’ soulful vocals which seals the whole package. While the entire album rocks, “Look Back” is one of my favorites songs along with “Focus In” and “The New Song”. If I had to put it in other words, Tangerine’s sticks with you like the warm feeling of the sun after a hot Sunday afternoon! Beautiful! =)
