Almost like being there...
by epartridif you can't see her live, or you're in Edie-concert-withdrawl, buy this. It's so so SO representative of how great she is in concert...you really get a sense of her as a human being. The only thing you miss is her facial expressions!
Pure Edie, and never disappointing
by JibletheadEdie's true passion for her work comes through in this live recording. If you've seen her in concert in a coffee house, you'll feel the same emotion and raw talent on this CD that you've come to expect from every Edie encounter. Conversation tracks sometimes get in the way of the music, but with Edie, you get the whole personna with every nuance strong and true as she recants short stories in her life or comments on the genesis of the next track. Even if you own the studio versions of her work, you should add this recording to your collection. It's worth it to relive the live Edie experience.
