by Sharin' in the grooveI was in shock when i heard this album. As most of the people who probably purchased this album am a giant Phishhead. I knew Tom always had written some really good lyrics...but for some reason everytime I thought about his band (amfibian) I always had some doubt in them for some reason. I decided to look them up and i previewed the song atlantis and really dug it so I checked out another one (Augustine) which really made me feel like i was listening to a song like Old Home Place. This album really deserves 5 stars and exceeded all my expectations and cleared every doubt in my mind about Tom's musical talents...this album is a must buy for everybody and will have aspects that people of all musical backgrounds would really enjoy
This surprised me
by Phish-daddyI didn't know much about Tom Marshall's musical ability, just his great lyrics in the music of Phish that I love so...
I bought the song 'Atlantis' just for fun, and wound up buying the whole album. His band is really good, especially the guitarist, and his voice has grown on me. I wasn't sure at first if I liked it. I can't wait for Amfibian's next album.
