Album Review

This is the second release by Peter Tork and James Lee Stanley (the first being 1996's Two Man Band), and they managed to make an excellent follow-up. The song arrangements are simple yet beautiful. They accompany themselves with acoustic and electric guitars, and this, in combination with their awesome harmonies, creates an incredible sound. Tork's writing has never been better (especially "Little Girl") and their choice of covers is original, as are their arrangements. Their cover version of "Daydream Believer" equals the Monkees' version. It is a giant relief to hear Tork in this duo after his involvement with the horrible Shoe Suede Blues CD (released in 2000). Fans of both Tork and Stanley will enjoy this, as well as fans of well crafted folk/pop/soft rock music.
