Inspirational music
by SFscott413This music is so beautiful and inspiring, despite the fact that it's in Russian and I don't understand a word. The chorus sounds like an instrument and as such has the same warmth and beauty as any symphony. If you are a fan of Rachmanninov, don't expect it to be the same hard-charging music of his well-known works - this is a completely different side, one that is celebratory. Although titled "All Night Vigil", it doesn't have the darkness of a requiem; it could be a vigil of birth or salvation.
