Didn't know the violin could do that!

Seriously, this is fabulous. It is a contemporary version of the traditional with some non-traditional thrown in to spice things up. Very impressive.

This is a wonderful recording. I spend hours in the car driving each week, and I look forward to the trips with this music!

This guy sure knows how to play the fiddle!

I first heard Jeremy randomly on the radio playing Oisin's Tune and immediately became interested. I'm a violinist myself so I'm very picky about who I listen to. However, Kittel's improvization skills, ornamentation, clarity and thought process are just amazing. The guitar player is just as good. Of course, there are some minor things on the album that could be improved, but overall, if you like a mix of Irish/Scottish/jazzy/improv/contemporary fiddle playing, this is one hell of an album.
