On a production level, David shows a meticulous ear and discipline to create tracks completely devoid of missed notes or stumbles in the rhythm --which allows the listeners to be immersed without distractions.
Typically, David uses atmospheric introductions to his pieces and allows the pulse of the piece to fully breathe. Then, often favoring a three beat time, he will alternate between flowing melodies and more punctual waltzes within the main body of the piece. The effect creates compositions that keep the listener in a quieter mood while still throwing in sounds that interest and engage them.
