Admiral Bailey, General Degree, Chappa Jan, and Jimmy Bad Boy are Slammin
by Meneaito ManiacThis is the first album on iTunes that I found which incorporated Jamaican Dancehall Reggae with Panamanian Spanish Reggae Rap (known today as Reggaeton). Although recorded in 2000 (as the name infers- PanJam 2000), the tunes are still cutting edge today, which tells you how ahead of its time it really was. The General Degree and Admiral Bailey tracks have a raw edgy appeal, and the Tony Pearl track Try Just A Little Bit Harder sound exactly like Janis Joplin with a different ridim. Worth listening to, and several of the tracks are most certainly worth buying. The song Drive Me Crazy by Avenger is a definite sleeper that will get into your head. As the Meneaito Maniac, I would not be reviewing this album if it did not include an original version of Meneaito "El Meneaito" produced by Big Daddy G. and The Karma Master, and performed by Gaby. I love the Meneaito (just can't help myself).

The creators of Rap in Spanish "Ragga Force" Records, put together some of the best rappers from Jamaica, with some of the best rappers from Panama, brought in Jamaican, U.S. and Panama Musicians. Recorded it in Jamaica, Panama, and Los Angeles, and came up with a slammin album. Great tunes, great rhythms, both in Spanish and English. They have some heavy weight artists including General Degree, Admiral Bailey, Renato, , and many more.
Produced by Big Daddy G., The Karma Master, and the best of the best when it comes to Panama, and Jamaican Musicians. Definetly worth 10 bucks!
