Discovery!
by thisgreatschemerIf you've stumbled upon this record as I did---through the seemingly random "pointing-and-clicking through iTunes" process---I implore you to stop and listen to a bit of each track. After having done so, think about what musical place this guy's coming from; there are so many cultural references---I've listened to the whole album MANY times, and I find something new to which I can relate (musically as well as in life!) with each listen. If you explore around iTunes a little more, you'll find Phil Fox's 'other' project, WICKED GIFT. It's the same band as on this record, and I'd suggest you get those albums too....but I'm sure you won't need much convincing!
