Memories of Radford

by eprof

Very fond memories for me, too, of Radford in the early 1980s. Does anyone remember the North Star Band from the same period? (80-82) Remember the Hideout and the Disco Depot?

What a great summer

If you were any where in Virginia in 1980-81 you heard a constant stream of Sweet Virginia Breeze (should be the state anthem) and Brite Eyes.
This guy is a great musician and this is probably his best effort. If you give the album a try you will be hooked. As a sidenote Robbin was in
a band called SteelMill there was some guitar player in the group with the last name of Springsteen.

Tap the keg and let the memories flow!!!

I was excited to see this finally made it to iTunes. I wore out several copies of this on tape and vinyl. Back in the day at NCSU our apartment was the party place. Tap the keg, invite 50 of our closest friends over, and BLAST this album. Good brews, great tunes, fond memories.
