I love this band. The CD is amazing every track is worth listening to. Each song a vibrant unique tune in its own right.

When I received New Jersey's Sixty Miles Down's four song e.p., I was immediately captivated by their rock sound, haunting melodies, and depressive lyrics with doomy atmosphere. It was a combination mastered by only Alice in Chains but now Sixty Miles Down has put their own spin on things. On this debut full length, the band has re-recorded those 4 songs ("Broken Down", "What You Never Had", "Darkness Falls", and "Resolution") and added eight new tracks for almost an hour of enjoyment. The production work well, the music has a raw edge while John Mosco's vocals have a more polished sound, emphasizing those catchy harmonies. "Say Goodbye" sets a nice groove with a hint of industrial elements and effects. "Sink Or Swim" has the best vocal harmonies with a closing guitar groove that is exhilirating. Sixty Miles Down have filled a void in rock music today. There's a dichotomy at work here, never has music so dark been so damned catchy.
