A Great Album
by GP-GrlAJ Strauss, is my uncle. He really is an amazing guy. He can just sit down at my piano, and improvise a wonderful song. More people should listen to him, and acknowledge his profound talent.
Thousandaire (The Sutras)
by SteveVanVeenQuite simply a brilliant album. AJ Strauss, the creative mind behind the group, manages to combine lyricism, influences from the Beatles to Pavement to Radiohead, and virtuoso playing into an original sound that is neither labored nor simple. It's a set of songs that you can hear over and over again, each time finding something new in them. Extraodinary. We may well look back on this record a decade from now, when the influence of Strauss and his band is obvious, and wonder why it took so long.
I love these guys
by IYguyThis music NEEDS to catch on. AJ is such a superb talent, as a singer he gives character to his already quirky lyrics, and as a musician there are few who match up to his versitility. Every god damn reviewer says this, but believe me when i say you won't be sorry if and when you buy this album.
