Album Review
He is an acquired taste. Parents are generally left out, and he sings extremely silly songs to younger children. Parents, on the other hand, do get to watch their children laugh wildly at songs about full diapers, nose picking, and other not-quite-so-graphic subjects. There's no great attempt to educate or stretch a young mind. It's lowest-common-denominator fun. You can tell by the titles that these recordings bear a strong relationship to each other.

What on Earth?
by chrsnorbtThis is not a review but more or less a story. I was looking for "Fluffy" from "Nick and Nora's infinite, but never mentioned in complete, playlist". I thought for some reason Fluffy was Kimya Dawson from the "Moldy Peaches" and must have got that confused with "Juno". Anyways, I was going through the songs on it and have discovered yet again another artifact of greatness from the late sixties and seventies. I am starting to believe that all the great forms of music we have now all came from that period. I love this guy. Dear lord is this something to be listened to again and again. Just completely silly and totally overlooked. I will definitely be making a mix of his stuff for my daughter. Especially on those long rides.

For the Next Generation
by mu6alThis incredible songwriter came to my school and gave a concert when I was in the eighth grade in 1991. Even though I was "too old," I thought, for kiddie music, I bought a cassette tape that day and listened and listened and played some for my students when I became an elementary music teacher. They laughed almost as much as I did and still do and I am delighted to see him available on iTunes for sharing with the next generation!
