Wonderful!!!

This body of work represents subtle genius! The honesty is palpable! I return to this album often and each listening yields a new discovery of their artistry. A must have album!

Why isn't this album #1 on the charts?

No wonder the Little Country Giants still don’t have a major label contract; they are doing it all wrong! All the big stars use ProTools pitch correction, but the Little Country Giants sing perfect harmonies that are at once earthy and angelic without help from AutoTune. In order to get significant radio play, a song should also have lyrics that could be written by a love-struck third grader. The Little Country Giants ignore this fact, and instead write poetic songs like “Big Freightliner,” with its witty phallic metaphor, and “Come Go with Me,” a murder ballad you can dance to. Like most pop superstars, all of the Little Country Giants are strikingly good-looking, but they even squander this opportunity by not using glamour-shots for their album covers! Until they learn to give up this brand of authentic, timeless, Americana art and properly sell-out, they will continue to be worshiped by only the small number of fans who still want real emotion and feeling in music.

Great Americana music

I do a weekly independent music podcast called The Great American Music Hour (available o iTunes) and can't say enough good things about their band. I've played any number of their songs on my show, including "Right or Wrong" and the title track, "Breaking Hearts and Living Free." I wouldn't call it country music; I'd call it Americana in the best sense of the phrase. If you like great singing and songwriting, Little Country Giants is for you.
