Sounds good and makes you feel good too!
by alycia715Katy Pfaffl (rhymes with waffle) has been a huge underground talent in NYC for years and this album, released in 2003, really incorporates lots of the piano driven soul/rock combo she's coming more and more known for. It also includes the familiar acoustic side she displayed in her debut self-titled album, released in 2001. Every song on here is a gem. Standouts would include "Poor Tonight" in which she laments not being able to meet her date because she cannot afford the subway token, "Beautiful" which just begs you to sing along, "Not My Home" which dares you to reach, dream, and conquer, "Goodbye" which is a foot-stomper crowd pleaser, and the innovative cover of The Beatles "Blackbird" which is so unique and different. You need to buy this album. You will not be disappointed and you will not be able to stop listening to it.
