Sounds like U2 going mad with progressive rock.
by Max MontgomeryThis music is very cool. I liked the last three tracks the best. I liked the cloudy relaxing feel of the 4th track and the cool, smooth feeling of the 5th track. This is a great album. Still deciding on weather to call it prog rock or not.
Powerful and melodious.
by TheGoodDoctorI saw this group at Super Happy Fun Land in Houston when I went to see another band performing there, and I was blown away by Model A's live performance. Every song here is worth listening to; if you enjoy melodious rock, you won't regret the purchase of this CD. My only complaint is that this would be a more interesting disc if we had more variety in the sound of the songs. As it is, the songs tend to sound like continuations of one another.
Finally...GOOD MUSIC!
by ARKHAM: The DWith all the mainstream crap I hear on the radio, I was happy to be found by Model A on myspace. Wasn't sure what to expect; most of the music on myspace I pass on. When I finally heard their stuff I was blown away. It can be soft and melodic and then firece and hard. What you get is a sound that has been lacking in music for sometime. Wherever other bands are going, Model A goes the other direction. They don't try to fit a trend, they just wnat to rock out. And seeing them live in L.A. only added to my appreciation of this band. Buy their stuff and see them live when you get the chance.
