So what?!?!?! These guys are awesome. Fun music, great riffs, excellent musicianship, tight as mess... They're a shining example of what a 3 piece band can do when all 3 guys are talented and on the same level. Surfing Baby is fantastic...

A breath of fresh air

I defy you to find a band coming out of America who plays with such a loose feel yet with such absolute precision.

Style-wise, they might remind J-Rock fans a bit of other power trios like The Pillows, but to my old-school Western ears it sounds almost like the later years of Dick Dale's surf guitar backed up by The Knack's rhythm section.

"Surfing Baby" is perhaps the most accessible track, but if you really love rock and roll, you will probably end up wanting all three.

Their producer for their second single, "King Lonely the Blue" (a remake of "Take a Heart" by the Sorrows, which has endured to be reissued)...
