Bring in the hounds!!!
by tunecridicI saw these sick dudes play live at a middle school celtics festival. It turns out that two of the band members went to that middle school like 20 years b4. and they said that that stage they were playing on is the first stage they performed on. And if u like this music go check out mollys revenge theyre realy good to. People always ask y they are called mollys revenge.
Next best thing to a live show
by kimp99I first heard Culann's Hounds in an Irish bar in San Francisco on a trip and they blew me away. I bought this album on the spot and it is one of my favorites. If you can't see them in person, then this is the next best thing. There's a nice blend of fast Irish jigs & reels and slower, more contemplative songs. Track 10 is a tour de force; be careful when you are listening to this in the car--you WILL speed. The Hounds' acoustic version of "Spancil Hill" is also a real treat, with the simple guitar and the mellow golden voice of the lead singer.
