Hauntingly Beautiful with incredible Harmonies

It's honestly shocking that Green and Root are not better known; there overwhelming talent is unforgettable. The songs on the album “Down that road” are simply elegant. Packed full of truth and engaging musical ideas, based on life’s experience. After each song is over, you'll be wrenched between wanting to hear the song again and wondering what wonderful mysteries lie in the next song. Songs like "Down that Road", with its almost haunting harmonies, leave you crying and wanting to call the person in your life that is closest to you. Then “Marrying you” begins to play and if your not in a relationship you want to be. The lyrics and are heartfelt and spiritual, anyone who has experienced life, love and death will be able to relate to this album. This is not just the average girl with guitar duo, Green and Root have a depth that breaks the barriers of folk, which allows the listener into their world while listening this album. These songs are universal, but the instruments help give the listener the sense of how it feels to be in this world.
