They have an authenticity about them and a pure love for making good, funky, music that uplifts the soul. Trombone Shorty (T.A.) presented himself as a seasoned band leader and generous collaborator; his young age notwithstanding!

by r8rfnatcWow! Just saw Trombone Shorty at the Santa Cruz Blues Festival (5-24-09) .... if you ever get a chance to see them, don't miss it! What an entertaining band! The will keep you on your feet the whole time they play. Didn't get a chance to buy their CD there at the festival so I'm here to buy it now.
Summa that Jookin' stuff
by Cort206My friends from NOLA an I saw these boys at Neumo's with the Rebirth Brass Band, Lordie this was a night to remember! They were rockin to it so hard, and I swear the guys in the band might have been feelin more lifted than the audience.. Trombone Shorty and his band are all youngbloods, the oldest member is something like 26, but they rock so hard you can't help to forget that! If y'all have a chance to see these boys blow-do it. A small venue is best, if you get tha chance, meet 'em after the show, these guys are genuine southern boys with that charm about 'em, ya heard!
