Brilliant

If you are a fan of rock or metal this cd is a must have. Numic have come up with a unique sound at times like Tool at others like Mudvayne. The switch from scream to sing flows together seamlessly, a technique other bands are hard pressed to mimic. This is one of the better cds I have heard in a while. I would recommend the tracks My Enemy, In Periphery, and Afterlife (you need this song.)

Great album!

“in the seven years or so I’ve been doing this local thing, I’ve never been so amazed by a local band like I am with this band right here! And you’re about to hear em…Numic!” -Mark Gilmore DJ KRXQ 98.5 Local Licks Show

98.5 KRXQ SACRAMENTO ROCKIN' REVIEWS -NUMIC - Recrudescent Feed The first thing that struck me when I received this CD was the clear consideration given to the packaging, which oddly enough doesn't get the attention that I think it deserves. Most bands consider what goes onto the disc and don't seem to put much thought into the aesthetics… This 4 piece has. My Enemy opens up with a note-bending guitar intro then gets heavy. "McKinney" is flying on drums, the running double bass & ridiculously tight cymbal work absolutely floored me. Suddenly the whole thing breaks down & the vocals come in lending themselves to possibly Maynard or Chevelle. Needless to say this is an excellent way to kick off this CD. I'm not even going to try and guess what time signature I Lamb is in, if they can pull this song off live, they are easily some of the most talented musicians that I have run into in a long time. Afterlife shows off their melody writing talent. After hitting you with a couple really hard songs they drop in a beautiful, slightly haunting piece of music. Dennis Michael D. even gives an incredibly talented throwback to the classic guitar solo, which you hardly ever hear in today's music. I think the main thing that I really like about Numic's music is it's super powerful, but has this killer groove that runs through the whole disc, which you don't hear much in music this hard. This might possibly be my most favorite CD that I have reviewed. I could go on and on about every single song on this CD, but for the sake of keeping this review at a somewhat reasonable length, I will just say everyone should have a copy of this album.
