Original and Needed
by Tara MarkovOrris truly fill a previously unoccupied musical niche. Using both rock-type instruments with classical influences, this group truly blends contrasting genres into their own sound. Their lyrics are meaningful (and understandable - rare for today), and their melodies are wonderful. Worth the buy!
Orris -- A Sound All Their Own
by AWCOrris is an amazing band that manages to employ classic techniques of established bands while carving out a sound all their own. Lead singer David Orris' tenor voice floats along with his rich keyboard work, while Michael Olsen's guitar work and backing vocals add dimension. You'll hear some Robert Smith, a dash of Collective Soul, and a little Rage Against the Machine in their work. From the first strains of "Benediction" to the aptly titled last cut "Simple", you won't want this album to end. Orris will be one of your favorite selections from iTunes!
