Album Review
La Luna Lounge is the debut CD from Moodafaruka, a trio (for this disc) from Houston, TX. Rom Ryan, Terrence Karn, and Elizabeth Wiles combine Indian ragas, flamenco melodies, and Middle Eastern rhythms to forge a delightful hybrid sound. This disc features 13 original compositions that are full of soul, energy, and joy. It sounds like they had fun making this disc. It covers many different spectra and pleases at many levels.
