Long Live Mingo!!!
by egonjazzWhat happens when a bunch of guys from the University of North Texas get together and start funkin’ it out on the corner of Mingo and Fishtrap streets (true story…)? Well, you get what has got to be one of the jammin’-ist bands in recent memory. Anyone who has seen these guys live can attest to the power of Mingo’s blend of silky soul and hardcore funk. A jammin’ band with a funky-tight horn section to match… If this doesn’t make you get up and dance, then you need to get yourself checked because you are suffering from a funk deficiency!
Extremely Talented Band!!!
by PrincessFiona93Mingo Fishtrap is an awesome band! Their singer is amazing and the instrumental players are also fantasic. I am lucky enough to know the tenor/alto saxophonist (Dan) personally and he is incredibly talented. Mingo is GREAT live but their album is the next best thing! Help support this band because they are awesome guys with even better music.
PS-My favorite track is Dirty Gritty!
