Not Jewish?

Yes, if you define "Jewish" as a religion and not as a race, then it is true that this album is definitely Christian and not Jewish. The album IS in Hebrew though, (and some English).

Christ (Greek) = Messiah (Hebrew). Christianity = Like Christ. Messianic = Like Messiah. Oh gee, look: Christian = Messianic. Why do people always try to make themselves look more spiritual with "fancier" titles that don't actually mean anything more?

In otherwords, this album IS Messianic, the Chabad are Messianic, and Christianity is Messianic. There have been lots of groups in Israel that have believed the Messiah has come, (Messianic). Some, have even studied enough to know that putting faith in the traditions of men and hear-say is against the command of God, (Christianity). So yes, this Album is evidently Christian. Unfortunately, the artists were not comfortable enough to label it as such.

Great instrumentation! Personally, I have no idea why Christians feel the need to imitate traditional Jewish Music. With musicians like these, I wold hope someday that there would be new Christian songs in Hebrew. (Really, we all know that just because a CD is in Hebrew, it doesn't mean its Jewish.)

It's good but I would purchase a different artist.

If you are looking for good Messianic praise and worship I would lean more towards Steve McConnell, Ted Pierce, Lamb, Paul Wilbur, and Marty Goetz. Steve McConnell's Yeshua is one of the best. Good luck!!

Don't be fooled by the Hebrew characters in the album art. Stay away.
