hidden gem for your collection
by Rue de la HuchetteI go see these guys whenever I get the chance. They play once a month at the Southgate House in Newport KY (across from Cincinnati) and they really do a great job. Their music reminds me of a genre that missed the bus to it's "fifteen minutes of fame, "but that is what makes it a hidden gem. Leaving Chicago is a classic that will stay in your head only to resurface the next time your heading out of town. Likewise for Dickity Do - insert 1950-something here and you're ready to go.
