American Heroes - A Sprout Classic

by Heroes Fan1

This is Jonathan's first album dedicated entirely to HEROES. His closing track "Hero" is one for the ages. It's no surprise that the album is the winner of the National Parenting Publications GOLD Award! My fifth graders LOVE "Ben Franklin" - we recently played it and I always laugh when they nod their heads along with the music. Jonathan's wonderful lyrics, along with beats and melodies you can't get out of your head for days, will certainly be a WONDERFUL addition to any child's music collection. CD or MP3!

We can't stop singing "Sacajawea" around our house. It's just one of eleven excellent songs that are not only well-written and produced, but also inspirational. I love to "Take A Ride" with Harriet Tubman and be there when Thomas Edison finally disicovers the right filament in "The Light Went On." This album is a great musical and lyrical work and remarkable learning tool.
