Nothin Better To Do by Shred's Wildsteed w/ Will Ray & friends

This is a fabulous compilation of tunes that I suppose could be called country rock but that seems to turn away non-country fans like myself who would otherwise dig it. As soon as I say the word, people shut down. I had listened to this countless times before I really paid attention to a "genre" and right off the bat, it became a "Desert Island Classic". Then I heard the term, country-rock come out of Mark Whelan's skull & I tried to refuse it, but I guess it's so. So listen to this awesome disc regardless of your musical styling preferences & if you don't think it's a fine piece of work gimme your shoe size and I'll send Vinny over with some custom made shoes "on the house". There's a small questionaire that Vinny or his associate Louie may administer. Things like, "Can you swim?", "Are you or have you ever been a member of a law enforcement organization?", "Are you afraid of heights?", "Are you packin'?" and the like will be asked for uh...general uh...survey like things...ya know.
Before you measure your feet though, listen ta dis record again and notice the incredible guitar work by Will Ray formerly of the "Hellecasters". The man can play, am I right? You betta bleevit!
There's not a number on this disc that wouldn't become a hit if given the chance...well...cept maybe fa da one dat talks about dat there herbage doze whimps in California call 'medicinal marijuana'. Medicine! Yeah right! I got yer medicine hangin' right here huh?! Doze lazy Californian's!
Da midwest might not take to dat one an some peeps don't wanna be hearin' bout no devil either. But it's a cranker, believe it!
"Bakin' To The Wind" is my favorite but I don't know how they do it! Every time I try to sieve da flour, da wind blows it away an I hafta staht over again. Rocko says dat's because I can't read so I whacked him but before he lost all his blood he said da tune was based on dat sayin', "When Pigs Fly" an I says to Rocko, I says to him, Wadaya mean by dat?! An den Rocko says ta me, he says, It's called "Bacon ta da Wind". Aw Jeez! I shot him again.
