Interesting Talent combined Originality

by Chris Humphries

If you're looking for something different, I recommend you listen to this. The musicians are good and seem to enjoy making music that they enjoy making.

If you're looking for bland, cookie-cutter music then you should look elsewhere.

For fans Bungle fans everywhere.

If the wonderful world of Mr. Bungle tickles your fancy for frenetic thinking persons music, then The Invincible Czars come on like an methed out Martha Stewart at a Pottery Barn 2-for-1-sale knife fight. Kind of like watching Looney Tunes in a Soviet era Moscow apartment with Mike Patton spinning a Monty Python album on the state-issued record player. You just can't ask for much more. Also check out Portland, Oregon's BlackBrown for more razor sharp sonic freakouts.
