Really enjoyed this album

Nice shades of sound
by JC SmoothI saw Petracovich and bought this about a year ago at Amnesia in San Francisco, and was really impressed with how consistently great her work is, having already owned "Blue Cotton Skin." The album has a lot of really smooth yet engaging sonic pallettes for Jessica's songbird voice to cruise on top of, and I enjoy listening to it. I experience new images or catch another new quality upon repeated listenings. Very cool to listen to in LA driving down Hwy 1 in Santa Monica during sundown. If you like Aimee Mann with a spring in her step, this album is for you. I highly recommend it!
Superb follow-up
by Sound CriticA fantastic sequel to Blue Cotton Skin. Jessica's airy, whispy voice--layered over synthetic beats--provides nearly an hour of consistently delightful melodies. I am especially attached to the Ultrasound and Paper Cup. Believe me, this is an album that will not disappoint.
