by :]!!!I love this band. Their music is amazing! the people in the band are amazing. someday they will definitely be HUGE. I found them on purevolume 3 years ago and since then I still can't get enough of them. I totally recommend their music 10000% to anyone who likes screamo music...hell even if you don't. :]

Great, But Not Perfect
by freeky guyThe day screamo met pop-punk seemed like it would never come until the day I heard Barnida. They use the same structure of verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus on every song, which makes it kind of repetitive. However, the catchiness of Trinity Murder, Angel Eyes and Captain Geetch all make up for that. And the way they took advantage of the studio to contain the screams opens them up to a wider audience than just screamo buffs like me.
I will say two of the songs are hard to finish. Those two are Marathon and Say Goodnight To The Bad Guy. Another downside to this is the fact that the lead singer's slurred vocals. It makes it hard to understand most of the lyrics. For weeks, I thought the first line of Angel Eyes' chorus was "Bindingly, bindingly." Took me a while to figure out "violently, violently."
All in all, it's worth listening to, but just like every underground artist, they've got their flaws.
