One of my favorites
by SKerri13This is one of my favorite albums, and my son loves it too. This, and Heather Alexander have done more for me getting my teenage son to read science fiction and fantasy then I can really say. My favorite songs on the album are The Collars and The Girl That's Never Been.
Wow!
by NearotzOne of my best friends showed me this song and I immediately fell in love with it. If anyone has read Stephanie Meyer's Twilight... well, it's worth mentioning that (my favorite) track "The Girl That's Never Been" reminds me of Alice (for more than just the namesake in the song).
Over all, beautiful vocals! I can't stand that pop-y synthesized crap that is overplayed on the radio, and this was such a break. The guitar in the background is quite simple, yet it adds to her voice, instead of competing with it. I'm really glad this is on iTunes!
Escape Key!
by Alexandra KrycekThis CD is one of the best filk albums that I have heard to date. Personally, I feel that 'The Girl That's Never Been' is one of the best on the album and it is my personal favorite. While Escape Key at this point has retired, Michelle Dockrey still performs solo (she did the vocals for this album.) Maybe if we support the band, they'll come back! Buy it :P
