Downright addicting
by mkclThis cd shows off some of the best of Houston Jones' "high-octane Americana" style. I wouldn't classify it as country, but rather an eclectic mix that includes blues, gospel, traditional folk, etc. There's something here for almost everyone. Their fabulous compositions have lovely melodies, foot-tapping rhythms, and original, intelligent lyrics that are a refreshing break from much of today's music. These guys are all talented musicians in their own right, but together they make magic. My favorites are their title cut and "Can't Keep a Good Man Down, and if you can sit still during "Jump Up, Little Children," you just don't get it!
