Call them folk-rock, glam or mad hatter-pop, the Slow Poisoners, at the time of this album's release, were the best San Francisco indie band that city had ever seen. The songwritting spaned stylistic continents and the musicianship was unparalleled. This album is truly a feast for the senses and, like the band, will not soon be forgotten.
