Take the power pop hooks of Weezer, mix them with the dark harmonic grunge of Alice & Chains, add some Pantera-like shredding and you get close to describing DEiLUSIAs sound. DEiLUSIA is a talented band from the San Francisco Bay Area that isn't afraid to mix it up.
DEiLUSIA’s music is an emotional roller coaster that takes its listeners to a dark place littered with the pain of abandonment, disease, suicide and love. The lyrics are like water always versatile and powerful. Underneath all of this musical drama, there is always an energetic undercurrent of optimism that will keep you in the groove.
DEiLUSIA’s goal is to bring meaning to a melody. The result is a passionate mix of alternative, pop, grunge, and metal. DEiLUSIA doesn’t just make great music, they make great songs that the listener will be instantly impressed by and addicted to.
Strictly through word of mouth, the band sold over 600 copies of their first full-length album, titled "Mourning Star", in a matter of two months. During this time, DEiLUSIA became the most requested local band on the KSJO radio show "Home Grown" and their first single "Dried Out" was one of the most downloaded songs on mp3.com.
With a brand new self-produced full-length album, DEiLUSIA is looking to take their music to the next level. The only risk involved is if your willing to reach that level with them.
