Rocking Scoundrels - Superb Rock 'n' Roll!
by Steve ZodiacIt's not often you hear a band like the Rocking Scoundrels these days, their songs are simple, catchy and guitar driven with great vocal harmonies. The sound is reminiscent of 'AC/DC' mixed with 'The Who' and 'Slade' or modern retro-styled bands like 'Jet.' You can hear the influences everywhere on this CD, yet it all seems fresh and exciting. 'Motorbikes, Rock 'n' Roll & Speed' is a fun, rocking party album from start to finish. Highlights include; ‘Good Time’, ‘I Wanna Ride’, ‘Ace Motorcycle Café’, and the cover of the Who's 'Sparks' is just awesome. Great stuff, I need to now go and check out their other CDs!
