by cologrrlI have been a fan of Tina since the mid-90's when I had the privilege of seeing her with her old band, Tina & the B-Side Movement; I own every album she's ever recorded, and this one is absolutely brilliant. It highlights her versatility as a singer, with soulful songs alongside honky-tonk rambles, followed by edgy rockers, and then a sweet lullaby. I LOVE every song on this CD, and every song has a totally different sound. Tina's voice gets in your bones, and the overall sound is full and vibrant; if you ever have the chance to see her perform, you are REALLY in for a treat. But if you can't, BUY THIS ALBUM!! I can't imagine you would be disappointed.
Should Be Famous Already
by Another CriticCertain albums feel like a classic the second you hear them and this is definitely one of them. If you are even considering buying this album, stop considering it and buy it. By far one of the best albums anyone could have in their collection, along with all the greats. "Never knew love" is a not only great, it's perfect. The arrangement, the voice, the soul, I need not say more. And every song from start to finish captures every aspect and every quality you would want from an artist. I'd give it more stars but it's the highest I could go.
