LSD is a classic song in St. Louis!
by dredzoBack in the day before national radio conglomerates homogenized and destroyed rock radio, St. Louis had a VERY idiosyncratic taste in rock music. Songs you'd never hear almost anywhere else were played there like they were Top 40, even 10 years or more after their release. Songs like LSD, Mason Proffit's Two Hangmen, Tarney Spencer's No Time To Lose, Nantucket's Heartbreaker...you get the picture. Anyway, hearing this song again brings back great memories of growing up in St. Louis in the late 70s and early 80s.

by marinecorpsmommaI actually grew up on this album-- this and Iron Butterfly, actually- so I was so pleased to find this on iTunes because my dad's album is just about all scratched up! My favorites are For Eddy and Snow Queen, but good ol' LSD rocks too! I can't wait to tell my dad he can put it on his iPod!
