Scott's performance strikes a chord in the depths of your soul...
by RawDietitianI have seen Scott play twice, the last time being in Sedona at Raw Spirit Fest 2007 and I will, thankfully, be seeing him play again in a few weeks at Raw Spirit Fest 2008. I can hardly wait...the sounds and stage presence of this man bring me to my basest nature and elevate me to a soaring spiritual high. Truly amazing...

Beyond Words
by YakersI saw this guy playing at Burning Man 2007 and was blown away. I have sampled bits of his other albums but this one is my favorite. This sound is now with me forever. I wish there was a video of his performance, while the music is extraordary seeing him perform is even more remarkable.
Secret Portal
by mahadaveI think this is his best work. Done essentially live and totally solo in the studio with all sounds including hand percussion, dolpin sounds and leg bells coming from Scott or his guitar. Scott is an eclectic visionary, stream of consciousness player who evokes emotion and connectedness over technique. He's not an Andy McKee or Michael Hedges, but his music will leave you more fulfilled with a voyage on his sonic carpet. He's been referred to as a Hendrix or Page (a la violin bow on Spiral Eclipse) of the acoustic guitar which does fit in some ways. Take a trip, close your eyes, listen and escape into the ethereal canvas.
