growing as an artist
by thegangisdeadi was a little surprised when i first heard this album. i had been a fan of Jake's for a couple years, and he seemed to have a pretty minimalist sound. in this album he goes all out with flutes, accordians, drums, etc. dont be scared off though, at its core its beautifully executed. worth owning for the song "the Grey" alone
Knockout rusty blues.
by redsevenJust discoverd Jake La Botz. Saw him play outdoor July 4th concert in Laurel canyon. Blown away by the mans raw talent. Came home and purchased this fantastic record. Only word of mouth can do this music justice. Check out the track Getting Closer. Its awesome.
