amazing

tyrone wells performed nearly this same song list last night in Boston - and having this CD is nearly the same as having him there to re-play an incredible concert to my heart's content. tyrone is a phenomenal singer, and an incredible performer. he captures the audience with strong lyrics in songs like "need" ... covers an amazing classic with "ain't no sunshine" ... and makes me believe that there's someone out there to make me feel like he does when he sings "sea breeze" to his wife. wonderfully done, Tyrone.

I used to see Tyrone when he played for free at McClain's every Thursday, and the same truth applies now as back then. His recorded albums are really good, but his live music is GREAT. Nothing compares to actually being in the room when he sings "When All Is Said and Done" at the end of each show. If you want the very best of Tyrone Wells, buy "Live At McClain's"

Good any way you get him!

I've only had the pleasure of seeing Tyrone live once when on the West Coast for business. For those who live there, you NEED to make a point of going to see him! For those of us on the East Coast, this CD, or any of the rest of his, will do. He blends, rhythm and blues, folk, pop, and every- well, you know? The long and short of it is that he's very hard to classify. He appeals to everyone for different reasons and his voice is so unique and refreshing - it's not covered or modified by computers. So check it out. You won't be disappointed!
