Album Review
No one expected the success of Dream Weaver when it was released, but it sailed to the top of the charts, and with good reason. Backed with only drums and a wide assortment of keyboards, Gary Wright crafted instantly recognizable tunes such as the title cut and "Love Is Alive," which caught on and remain staples of classic rock stations around the U.S. All very revolutionary and new at the time, Dream Weaver hasn't lost any of its magic over time.

Why Don't they make music like this anymore?
by Twilight/Rock Lover!!!My favorite song on this album is Dream Weaver. Dream Weaver actually inspired the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. But yeah. Dream Weaver is the BEST song ever!
One of the All time Favs
by SherbenstienI bought this album before it climbed the charts, before most had ever heard of him. Never regreted it, still one of my favorites, and one of my long time friends still remembers my sharing it with him and years later found the CD. It rocks, its powerful, if you like electronic keyboards you will appreciate it.

by The Uribsteri saw him in concert on july 12th with ringo starr and he was great! still has a great voice after all these years, he sang his two big hits off of this album dream weaver which he wrote from a book of poems given to him by former beatle george harrison. and his other hit love is alive. those are the only songs on the album i like so if you don't have enough to buy the whole album by love is alive and dream weaver.
